Hope Halloween Fun - Looking different this year!

Hey Hope Families,

Let’s carve out some fun.  Yes, it’s true the Halloween festivities at Hope School will look different this year in order to adhere to LPOSD’s COVID Yellow Level of Operation. Boo! I know I’m sad too. However, each teacher will have some Halloween themed fun in their classroom on Friday, October 30th.  Orange you glad to hear that?  Your child’s teacher will share some secret details with you, or maybe just some festive details. This means no costumes and no parade at school, but we will still have a howling good time.   In lieu of wearing school colors on Friday the 30th, we encourage our students to wear Halloween colors of all black, or a combination of midnight black, pumpkin orange, scary glowing lime green and/or purple.  Yep, I’ve been informed that purple is a Halloween color!  We will all look Fa-BOO-lous in our Halloween colors. Thank you for continuing to help us stay safe while having a bit of fun!  Speaking of fun, send in your elementary school appropriate Halloween puns or jokes and we will share them at school, and/or on the Wildcat Blog and Wildcat Facebook page.  Lets see who is the Pun-King: How Do You Mend a Broken Jack-o'-Lantern?

With a pumpkin patch, of course!

Thanks so much.
Happy Howling Halloween
Mrs. Hatley
