For the 2nd year in a row the current graduating class of Clark Fork High School made a visit to Hope School.
May 30, 2019
The purpose of this visit is to show our elementary students what 'graduation' really means. The pride and excitement is palpable as the graduates walk down our hallway and visit the classrooms. A great part of their visit is seeing how 'grown up' they all seem. Some GRADS have siblings and/or other relatives at Hope School so it is a very proud moment for those of us who remember when these seniors attended Hope School.
The parade of graduates positively impacts our students by providing a visual of what 'some day' will look and feel like for them. The parade ends in the gym as the graduates stand in a receiving line and each and every student give a hand shake and some even get hugs - all receive a hearty "congratulations!"
The final aspect of their visit is of course the PLAYGROUND and the dome bars that they used to hang from in kindergarten.
